Free scope

The free scope is an estimate, not an offer.

Domira Design

• Fee incl. VAT: AED 500 (studio to 2 bed), AED 750 (3 bed or more, or townhouse), AED 1,500 (villa).
• 45-minute home visit, usually within a week of booking.
• Room-by-room plan, named device list and fixed installation price within 3 working days.
• The design is yours to keep and use for that home with any installer.
• The design fee is separate and not deducted from installation.
• Quotes are valid for [30] days.

Fixed price

• Includes devices, cabling, fitting, testing, handover and 5% VAT. There is no separate installer fee.
• Once agreed, it doesn't move.
• Unexpected findings during installation are Domira's to resolve at no extra cost.
• Exception: changes you ask for are quoted separately and need your written approval.

Not included

• The design fee.
• General electrical, plumbing, AC or building works.
• Building or community NOC fees.
• Domira Care.

Built in

• The installation becomes a fixture of the property.
• Ownership of devices passes to you on full payment; risk passes at handover.
• Renters must get the landlord's written approval (NOC) before installation. Domira can help request it.
• If the landlord refuses, Domira can design a lower-impact setup, but all Domira installations are fitted, not portable.

Your responsibilities

Access, building and community permissions, power, internet and accurate information.

Stages

• 1 Survey
• 2 Design approved
• 3 First fix
• 4 Devices fitted
• 5 Tested and handed over

For each stage the installer uploads photos and test results. You approve or raise an issue within 48 hours of receiving the evidence. With no issue raised, the stage is approved automatically. A disputed stage is reviewed by a Domira designer within 2 working days and fixed at no cost before approval.

Payment

• One fixed payment to Domira through Stripe.
• Domira pays its installer as each stage is approved.
• Domira does not hold money on behalf of the installer and is not an escrow.

Warranty

Manufacturer warranties pass to you, plus a Domira workmanship warranty of [12] months from handover.

Cancellation

• Design: free with [48] hours' notice, with one free reschedule; later, the fee is kept.
• Installation before devices are ordered: full refund.
• After devices are ordered: refund minus non-returnable device costs.
• After work starts: approved stages plus non-returnable devices are payable.
• Refunds go to the original payment method within [14] days.

Liability

• Capped at the price paid for the service concerned, except where UAE law doesn't allow a cap (including death, injury, fraud and gross negligence).
• Domira is not liable for manufacturer cloud or app outages, or for internet and power failures.

Law

UAE law as applied in Dubai. The Dubai courts have jurisdiction.
