Approved Technician Terms

Requirements

• Valid UAE trade licence and liability insurance of at least [AED amount], checked before approval and every year after. Certified installers already on file skip this check.
• Skills reviewed for Domira's launch range: smart locks, leak sensors and shut-off valves, hubs and networks.
• Domira Care training completed before the first call-out.

Scope of work

• Fix or replace faulty Domira-installed smart devices, then restore and test the system.
• No work on plumbing, wiring, AC or anything outside the smart-home system.
• Never open camera video, and never unlock a door without the customer's say-so.

Availability and response

• You choose your areas and hours and may accept or decline each job.
• On the urgent rota you agree to arrive within the Care Plus response time: within 4 hours, 7 days a week.

Evidence

Check in on arrival and record before and after photos, the test result and parts used in the technician app. The customer confirms each job.

Quality

• First call-outs are reviewed from your photos and test results.
• Customers rate every visit. Below-standard ratings mean retraining or removal.
• Repeat visits to correct your own work are at no cost to the customer.

Pay

• Call-out: [call-out rate]. Urgent call-out: [urgent rate]. Health check: [health check rate].
• Parts at agreed prices.
• VAT treatment of technician fees: [confirm whether inclusive or exclusive of VAT].
• Paid within [X] days of the customer confirming the job.

Technician obligations

• Give a [90]-day workmanship warranty on each fix.
• Keep customer and home data confidential and use it only for the job.
• Do not solicit Domira customers directly for [12] months.

Law

UAE law as applied in Dubai. The Dubai courts have jurisdiction.
